The gas condensate from the final cooling unit was used to replace the supplement soft water for the saturator, and that reduced the surplus ammonia water amount in the COG purification unit. The process line for utilizing the condensate from the final gas cooling unit of the coking plant and the corresponding process equipment were introduced. Furthermore, the process control points were also illustrated. Such an improvement showed remarkable effect, as it brought down the utilities consumptions of water, electricity and steam, and a lot of cost in wastewater treatment was saved.
