| Abstract: | The dispersion equation for the fundamental mode of a helical slow-wave system is obtained and numerically solved with the use of the periodic Green??s function represented in cylindrical coordinates and the method of the linear integral equation for the helix axial current in the thin-conductor approximation. A method is proposed for taking into account a helix winded with the use of conductors with finite cross sections. |
