Research Progress and Application Status of Diesel Detergent Additives

Diesel detergent can remove sediment to reduce power loss. In this paper, the development history and research progress of diesel fuel detergent additives in recent years were described, and domestic and foreign evaluation methods of diesel detergency were introduced. The quality status of domestic diesel detergents was investigated, and the effect of detergents on the engine in practical use was discussed. At last, the development trend of diesel detergents was prospected.
