| Abstract: | The creative idea for the design of the cultural square of Nanzhuang Town was briefly introduced. Emphasizing on the design principle of simplicity, the author arranged the complex functions orderly and rechly by simple combination of building units, direct transportation system and clear environment. Site design and unit design method were flexibly employed and traditional culture and design methods used for reference. |
