| Abstract: | Methods for weighting / thickening finishing of natural silk fabrics are reviewed with 7 refs. by comparing the characteristics of the bentonite / tannin weighting ,tin-weighting, graft weighting and fibroin-weighting. It is believed that the fibroin-weighting is actually a comparatively desirable way. The effects of the various ways on the dyeing performance of the silk fabrics are also discussed. |
