Cooling power costs from a trigeneration system in a hospital

Hospitals with high needs for electric, heat and cooling power for the whole year seem to be a promising customer interested in introducing a so-called trigeneration system. The goal of the paper is to calculate the costs of these three energy forms produced from such a system taking the energy and exergy approach. The emphasis was placed on the costs of cooling energy and its variation during peak and off-peak periods when using different types of cooling devices.
