| Abstract: | According to operating characteristics and regarding to issues of heavy duty wide and heavy size plate rolling mill backup roll,the correct operation and maintenance methods of the backup roll have been described.Applying of reasonable grinding system and accurate chamfer parameter could extend service lifetime of heavy duty backup roll. |
