| Abstract: | Synthesis and Characterisation of Vinylisothiocyanates The preparation of vinylisothiocyanates by treatment of γ-chloroallylchlorides with KSCN followed by rearrangement of the γ-chloroallylthiocyanates is described. The structure is proved by the reaction of the vinylisothiocyanates with mercaptides and by spectroscopic methods. |
