摘    要:采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱(ICP-AES)法測定矿石中的钍,对样品的前处理和仪器的測试条件进行了优化。采用碱熔法对样品进行熔解,用水提取,过滤,滤渣用盐酸(10%)复溶,最后用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法測定样品中钍的含量。有效地解决了酸溶样品溶解不完全导致结果偏低问题,并且溶液静罝过夜后过滤,解决了碱熔法引入太多盐分易堵塞ICP-AES雾化器的问题。方法的检出限为1.26μg/g,相对标准偏差<6%,具有快速、简便,测试范围宽、灵敏度高的特点,适用于0.001%-1%钍的测定。

Abstract:The paper describes an innovative method to determine the abundance of Thorium in minerals by Alkaline dissolution and inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES).An optimized condition for sample pre-treatment and ICP-AES instrument settings are established in this study.Specifically,the mineral sample is first melted in alkaline,followed by water extraction.After sample filtering,the residue is re-dissolved with hydrochloric acid(10%).Finally,the content of Thorium in the hydrochloric acid dissolved sample residue was determined by ICP-AES.This method solves the problem caused by incomplete dissolution of Thorium using acid alone,which results in an underestimation of the result.Moreover,by leaving the solution still overnight and filtered properly before use,the method also avoids the potential blockage problem of the ICP-AES atomizer due to alkali salts.The detection upper limit of the method is 1.26μg/g,with a standard deviation below 6%.In conclusion,our methodology for Thorium abundance measurement is fast,simple,broadly applicable,and highly sensitive.The method is suitable to determine the concentration of Thorium in the range of 0.001%-1%.
