Applied research on Yi national costume element integrated into modern costume design

With the development of society and times,costume will produce new changes.The research,design and innovation about traditional national costumes are important for the protection and inheritance of traditional national costume culture which is also the driving force for the development of China’s costume industry.It is necessary to combine traditional national costumes with the current costume design.The paper attempts to integrate the traditional costume elements of Yi nationality into modern costume design,and pays attention to the application of the re-design concept in costume design,so as to closely combine tradition with trend and fashion through design works.
