| Abstract: | The queue theory and its three components,performance and model are described.The problem of waiting for a ticket in booking systems of train stations is analyzed with the queue theory.The application of the queue theory to booking system is proposed.With the help of operation research and management science,the performance of such a system will be greatly improved. |
