对可持续发展住区的研究，需要从哲理、选用技术、实验住区三个环节入手。人类关心自己胜过关心全球，追求世俗短期效益忽视整体综合效益等近视观念，造成对可持续发展的威胁；人类自身创造的技术，由于享乐至上世界观的误区，导致某些技术的负面效应成为奴役人类的“专制暴君”，如汽车、氟里昂致冷剂等。人们清醒地认识到要选用可持续发展技术，营建具有经济文化型、生态祥和型、设施节能型、交通安捷型、环境优美型的可持续发展住区。

Philosophy and Technology of Sustainable Development of Human Settlements

The studies on sustainable human settlements must concern 3 topics, these are: philosophy, technology and experimentation. Human-being neglected the fact, they are confronted with the danger of the unsustainable development of the whole earth, mainly due to that people concern their own short welfare rather than the long range benefits of our own world.People also neglected the fact the technology developed by people entertaining the technology such as automobiles and air-conditioners in such a way so that such technology being transfermed into as a tyrant, controlled people as slaves of technology. People are awakened to adopted sustainable technlogy to develop experimental sustainable human settlements with prosperious economy, rich culture, sound ecology, cohesive community, energy-saving facilities, comfortable and safe trafficet beautiful and handsome environment.
