| Abstract: | Using a wear test rig of the disc and pin type the influence of the sliding velocity V and contact pressure P on the friction and wear of sintered iron under unlubricated (dry) conditions was studied. The results showed that for a fixed test duration the coefficient of friction and wear varied according to the law KPaVb. |
