| Abstract: | A generator of high-power nanosecond current pulses on the basis of a dynistor, which is switched on within 1 ns, is described. Its dimensions are 70 × 80 × 25 mm; at a power voltage of 2.2 kV, the generator switches weakly damped alternating bell-shaped current pulses with an amplitude of 5 kA and a duration of 400 ns. |
