| Abstract: | The application and effect of protection technology for 50?t converter lining by slag splashing in No.2 Steelmaking Plant of Xiangtan Iron & Steel Corp. are introduced in this paper. It mainly discusses metallurgical slag forming, conditioned slag, control on process parameters of protection lining by slag splashing and its influences on steel quality. Finally, the future work is put forward. |
