对深厚覆盖层地质问题的认识

近１０余年来，在河谷中进行水利水电工程地质勘测时，常碰到深厚覆盖层（即在河谷中有厚度近５００ｍ的第四纪堆积物）的问题。对这一问题，从实际资料出发，研究其生成原因，并论及其工程地质意义，将有利于工程规划方案的实施。

Cognition of geological problems of thick overburden layer

In the recent decade,a thick overburden layer (the Quarternery accumulation with thickness up to 500 m)was often encountered in geological investigation of river valleys for hydropower project. With regard to this problem,studying its generic causes according to existing data and assessing impact on engineering geology will be beneficial to the execution of project plan.
