缸盖油水混合故障原因分析及对策

Analysis of Reasons Causing Cylinder Head Oil-Water Mixing and Prevention Measures

The client-found oil-water mixing failure situation of the cylinder head was introduced. By conducting leakage retest,dissection and analysis of the client-returned cylinder head,it was considered that the failure was caused by the following reasons：the copper sleeve of the oil injector cracked due to its wall being too thin;oil leakage occurred due to poor joining between oil injector and copper pad in the copper sleeve;the oil returning channel was obstructed that led to a high pressure formation in the copper sleeve and caused copper sleeve cracking;the quality of the cooling liquid was not good that caused the oil injector copper sleeve being eroded and wall-through holes formation;the’O’-shaped sealing ring was damaged that caused sealing not tight;the sealing around the oil injector nozzle was not tight. The failure problem has been solved by adopting the following measures：strictly controlling the copper sleeve quality and improving the copper sleeve configuration;using the’O’-shaped sealing ring made of good material and improving control of its installation process;improving matching configuration of the oil injector nozzle;ensuring proper sealing pressure of the sealing pad between the oil injector and the copper sleeve;avoiding the connecting pipe head and the oil entrance of the oil injector to be damaged;ensuring the quality of cooling liquid.
