Discussion on Strengthening the Cultural Atmosphere of Garden Space by Ground Pavement Pattern

Decorative patterns are the essence of Chinese classical garden culture and unique symbols of folk culture.In order to have a more comprehensive interpretation of Chinese classical garden culture,the paper focuses on the ground pavement patterns.On the basis of the analysis of the shape and structure of the pavement patterns,the relationship of the gardens’space theme with culture is studied.The study shows that the pavement patterns are an important element of garden culture,which has unique significance both in their style and content：they are not only an important means to serve and to highlight the theme of gardens,but also a supplement for the cultural connotation of gardens.Moreover,they embody vividly the perfect blend of Chinese ancient outlook on nature and cultural outlook.
