| Abstract: | A method by heat moulding to repair the insulation defect of the Si XLPE cable after insulation extrusion and before silane cross linking is presented, by using which the expected requirements may be satisfied, i.e. the electric and thermal ageing properties of the insulation satisfy the requirements of the particular application. |
