八大重点城市规划:新中国城市规划事业的奠基石

在广泛占有相关史料的基础上,对"一五"初期八大重点城市规划的编制背景和过程、规划内容和主要技术特点等进行了相对系统的梳理。八大重点城市规划的编制内容,较为集中地体现了中国当代城市规划初创时期的科学技术特征。通过以八大重点城市为代表的规划工作的开展,一方面保障了国家大规模工业化建设的顺利进行,并为八个城市的长远可持续发展奠定了基本框架,另一方面也培养了新中国第一代城市规划工作者,积累了宝贵的城市规划工作经验,并对中国特殊国情条件下的规划理论和方法进行了初步探索,为新中国城市规划事业发挥了奠基性作用。

PLANNING OF EIGHT KEY NEW INDUSTRIAL CITIES: THE FOUNDATION STONE OF URBAN PLANNING IN NEW CHINA

On the basis of extensive relevant historical materials, this paper systematically researches the background, process, content and main technical characteristics of the planning of eight key new industrial cities in the early period of the First Five-Year Plan. The planning contents of eight key new industrial cities embody the scientific and technological characteristics of the initial stage of contemporary urban planning in China. Through the development of planning represented by eight key new industrial cities, on the one hand, it guarantees the smooth progress of large-scale industrialization construction of the country and lays a basic framework for the long-term sustainable development of eight cities; on the other hand, it also trains the first generation of urban planners, accumulates valuable urban planning experience, and explores planning theory and method under the special conditions of China. The method has played a foundational role in the urban planning development of new China.
