| Abstract: | Increased demands are being placed on electronic transmission control systems because it is to be expected that automatic transmissions will become more and more widely used in western Europe,and new objectives have been set for low fuel consumption. Designs for shift point control and automatic program changeover represent one main factor of this. Not only due to the technical content of electronic control systems development,but also because of its methods (including development and test equipment), electronic control systems development meets the requirements and has the potential to rise to the challenge facing it. |
