Abstract:Li-ion battery had been widely used in the field of energy storage.However,security risks were existing in Li-ion battery energy storage system.The use of advanced management and control,early alarming and fire-fighting technology was the method to improve the reliability and safety of energy storage power station.Starting from the perspective of the reliability and safety of current energy storage system and based on previous research results of safety related technology,the research progress in enhancing the reliability and safety of energy storage system was reviewed,including the establishment of a reasonable energy storage system management system and specifications,the improvement of the intrinsic safety of the battery,as well as module management and control technology,pre accident prediction and alarm technology,advanced firefighting technology.The safety application of energy storage power station was prospected.
