嵌入式零树图像编码在故障信号压缩中的应用

随着对电力系统故障过程监控水平要求的逐步提高,急剧增大的故障录波器数据量给数据传输和储存带来了很大的困难,因此数据压缩也越来越受到人们的关注。在描述小波包变换的基础上,提出了一种由嵌入式零树编码算法改变而成的应用于电力系统一维故障数据压缩的压缩方法。仿真结果表明该算法对电力系统故障数据的压缩十分有效,并且实现简单,在任意点中断编解码不会影响算法重构出基本波形。

Application of Embedded Zerotree Image Coding in Fault Data Compression

The amounts of fault signal records are increasing rapidly with the elevation of fault monitoring level,which leads to troubles for data transmission and storage,therefore the research of data compression is paid more and more attention.After introducing wavelet packet,a new method for data compression,based on embedded zerotree wavelet,is presented and applied to power system fault data compression.Test results show the proposed method is simple and effective,and in particular it can terminate encoding/decoding at any point and still produce a signal close to the original one.
