| 摘 要： | UMA可支持移动语音与数据从蜂窝网络到无线局域网(WLAN/WiFi)的无缝转换,是实现移动/固定网络融合的技术之一。目前UMA标准正逐渐成熟,不少厂商推出了基于UMA的解决方案和终端设备,欧洲、北美及亚太的运营商也开展了运作和测试。UMA为运营商开辟了新的业务途径;可帮助移动运营商解决室内覆盖、提高频谱利用率;有利于固网运营商提高话务量和收入。

| Abstract: | UMA is an access technology that allows seamless handover of mobile voice and data from a cellular network to a wireless local area network (WLAN/WiFi), which can achieve Fixed-Mobile network convergence. With the UMA standards becoming mature, solutions and terminals are being launched by a number of manufacturers, and trials are being performed by operators in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific areas. UMA provides new business mode for operators, which can bring improved in-building coverage and optimized spectrum utilization to mobile operators, and bring increase traffic and ARPU to fixed operations. |
