| Abstract: | This paper presents the successful example of desert foundation treatment by using heavytamping method at the Jingbian natural gas purification plant located in the central part of Shanxi -Gansu-Ningxia Gas Field. The advantages of heavy-tamping for desert foundation treatment consideration and suggestions of the revising value of the L- Menard formula.' |
