Significance of Art Nouveau in Modern Design History

Art Nouveau was an art and design movement in the turn of the century. It has broken the obsolete decoration motive, founded fresh decoration and design appearance, and has laid the solid foundation for the modernism design production. This style has different manifestation in different European countries ; however the essence of opposition tradition decoration style and the traditional opposition is same. Art Nouveau, regardless of or in the spiritual essence all is worth our later generation to research and to use for reference.
