基于Modbus协议的触摸屏串口扩展电路设计

摘    要:针对触摸屏串口数目少,连接设备不灵活(主要是PLC)的缺点,设计了串口扩展电路,实现串口1—4的扩展。电路中单片机控制单元通过标准MODBUS协议和触摸屏通讯,扩展功能则由集成异步通信芯片TL 16C554A完成,扩展后的串口可根据与需要灵活制定相应的协议与下位机传送数据。经实践验证,本扩展电路具有通讯灵活稳定、实时性好的特点。

Abstract:To overcome the drawbacks of touch screen such as small number of serial ports and inflexible connecting to equipments expect PLC ,we designed a serial port extension circuit from 1 to 4. The MCU of circuit communicates with touch screen adopted Modbus protocol. The extended function was realized by Integrated Asynchronous Communication Element TL16C554A. Protocols of the four extended ports can be defined flexibly according to the need of transferring data to its connected machine. The results of its practical application indicated that this design is of flexibility, stability and practice.
