| Abstract: | Fatehpur Sikri had once was a magnificent fortified city of Mughal Empire during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Being one of the most outstanding masterpieces of the Indian Islamic architecture, it is famous in the world by its characteristic flexible space organization and the mixture of Islamic style with original local forms. This open and eclectic cultural attitude undoubtedly give us an enlightening guidance to search for the pluralistic approaches in today's architectural practices. |
