Abstract:Developed countries have released a large number of greenhouse gases in more than 100 years since the industrial revolution, warming the earth′s climate, causing the rise of sea level and frequent extreme weather, endangering human life safety. The United Nations had held many climate conferences for this purpose. There were two milestones:(1) the 1997 climate conference signed the Kyoto Protocol, identified six greenhouse gases, opened the path of low-carbon sustainable development and established a carbon footprint system;(2) most countries signed the Paris Agreement in the 2015 climate conference, the climate temperature rise would be limited to within 1.5 ℃ before the middle of the 21 st century, and it was stipulated that before the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow in November 2021, countries needed to commit to zero carbon emission or carbon neutralization. At the 40 nation leaders′ climate summit on April22~23, 2021, major economies have put forward corresponding goals and stepped up the research and development of renewable energy to achieve the promised goals.
