The investigaton on the catalytical performance and the technicaleconomical evaluation were conducted for Type Z110y steam reforming catalyst after its use in Yuenan Natural Gas Chemical Plant for more than one year. The results showed that the said catalyst is a better kind of reforming catalyst for the primary reformer. It has advantages of good low temperature activity, highly stable activity, low pressure drop and excellent thermal conductivity, thus reducing the wall temperature of the reformer, prolonging the service life of the tubes and saving energy consumption and fuel gas.
