| Abstract: | A parameter estimation method is presented for simultaneously determining the heat and moisture transport properties in wet porous media. According to the principle of the parameter estimation method, a practical experimental apparatus is developed.As an example, the heat and moisture transport properties in a wet sand is determined using the developed parameter estimation agorithm and the experimental apparatus. The experimental results show that the developed method has potential applications to the determination of heat and moisture transport properties in wet porous media. |
