Abstract:To solve cavity hydrostatic and radial bearing design problem in engineering application,based on AutoCAD and parametric design method,Visual LISP is utilized to develop a cavity hydrostatic and radial bearing performance analysis CAD system that accords with industry standards.The system interface is established with DCL and design parameters are digitalized to establish the SLD file based parameter databases and the interface between AutoCAD and the parameter databases is developed to call the data in the parameter databases by Visual LISP driving program.According to the design conditions and performance analysis flow,a designer is guided to accomplish the performance analysis of a cavity hydrostatic and radial bearing and call a parametric drawing module to complete its detail drawing.The system is intuitionistic and easy to use and can help the designer improve design efficiency and quality.The approach can be a reference for the development of other hydrostatic bearing CAD systems.
