| Abstract: | The present mercury-tree production of paste type , paper - lined type and alkaline Zn/MnO2 batteies in China were introduced. The harmless development of primary Zn-MnO2 battery in Japan was recounted too. The waste battery and enviroment protection were also studied and the prospects of Zn/ Mn02 battery in the future were pointed out. |
