马来酸酐接枝改性PP/PS皮芯复合纤维的研究

摘    要:用自制的马来酸酐接枝聚苯乙烯为相容剂,与改性聚丙烯(PP)混合造粒作为芯层料,以聚苯乙烯和相容剂为皮层料,将芯层料与皮层料以体积比1:1的比例熔融复合纺丝,制得皮芯复合纤维,对改性PP的结构和皮芯复合纤维性能进行了研究。结果表明:马来酸酐已接枝到聚丙烯上,皮芯复合纤维相对于纯PP纤维,其熔点下降,结晶温度上升;电镜分析表明皮芯复合纤维的皮芯之间没有明显的裂缝,其相容性得到改善;与没有改性的PP与聚苯乙烯复合纤维比较,皮芯复合纤维的力学性能得到明显的提高。

Abstract:A sheath-core composite fiber can be prepared using the granulated mixture of modified polypropylene(PP)and a compafibilizer of maleic anhydride grafted styrene as the core and the mixture of polystyrene and the compatibilizer as the sheath at the volume ratio of 1:1 by melting composite spinning process.The structure of modified PP and the properties of sheath-core composite fiber were studied.The results showed that maleic anhydride was grafted onto PP;as compared with pure PP fiber,the sheath-core composite fiber had lower melting point and higher crystallization temperature.No evident splitting gap was observed between the sheath and the core by scanning electron microscopy,which indicated that the compatibility of the sheath and the core was improved.The mechanical properties of sheath-core composite fiber were markedly improved as compared with the un- modified PP/potystyrene composite fiber.
