| Abstract: | Based on practical experience gained in the reconstruction of the electrical distributed control systems (DCS) of Junliangcheng Power Plant's four 200MW generating sets, the paper presents an introduction, both from the theoretical and from the practical side, to the principles and the special features of intelligentized monitoring instruments as well as effects of their application in measuring systems of power plants. Design concepts of theirs soft ware are being presented at the same time. |
