Geological control of dome structure on gold deposits in Xiangzhong basin

There are two important gold metallogenic belts distributed in the dome tectonic system in Xiangzhong basin,namely,Baimashan—Longshan W⁃Sb⁃Au metallogenic belt(I)and Miaoershan—Guandimiao NE W⁃Sb⁃Au polymetallic metallogenic belt(Ⅱ).Longshan,Gaojiaao,Liaojiaping,Baiyunpu,Daxin and other small and medium gold deposits are closely related to the dome structure in this tectonic system.Three gold deposits,Longshan gold⁃antimony deposit(Longshan dome),Chuanyanshan gold deposit(Dachengshan dome)in I metallogenic belt and Dayunshan gold deposit(Guandimiao dome)inⅡmetallogenic belt,were selected to explore geological control of dome structure on the gold deposits in Xiangzhong basin.Through the comparative study,it was considered that the gold deposit in Central Hunan was mainly controlled by the secondary fault structure within the dome structure,and it was speculated that the depth prospecting potential of the Dachengshan dome and Longshan dome was great because of the low denudation degree,while the potential of Guandimiao dome was relatively small.
