Research and Practice on Intelligent Application of Excitation System in Hydropower Plant

Abstract:Based on the intelligent research and application of excitation system in hydropower plant,this paper introduces the intelligent design of excitation system,such as intelligent regulator,intelligent power cabinet,intelligent deexcitation cabinet and rotor insulation optimization.At the same time,the advanced technology and characteristics of IEC 61850 communication protocol,infrared temperature measurement system,internal communication optical fiber,optical fiber pulse transmission technology are introduced.Finally,the construction of the intelligent integrated information management system(SIMS)is regarded as an important part of the intelligent construction of the hydropower plant,which provides guidance for the production and operation of the power plant.This paper puts forward a new idea for the intelligent design and application of excitation system in hydropower plants,hoping to provide reference for the same industry.
