JustTop's Digital Trunking Network Platform

The architecture, occupied frequency band, traffic model, basic parameters, number resources, basic and complementary services of the digital trunking system developed by Beijing JustTop Co., Ltd. are given in the paper. The value-added trunking services that will become a new profit-gaining mode are also described. The demerits of TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) in the respect of sustainable applicability and some key issues that network operators should consider in network planning are deeply discussed. Finally, it is pointed out that the governmental emergency response system will be well developed, and it is expected that homemade trunking systems with independent IPR will break a new path for the development of digital trunking communications in China.
