| Abstract: | Announces the 2009 winners of the Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training awards. The recipient of the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology is Nadya A. Fouad, and the recipient of Award for Distinguished Contributions of Applications of Psychology to Education and Training is Richard Lehrer. For each recipient, a citation, biography, and selected bibliography are presented. In addition, for Richard Lehrer, his paper, entitled "Designing to develop disciplinary dispositions: Modeling natural systems," is included, a version of which he delivered at the American Psychological Association's annual convention.
