| 摘 要： | 帧内预测模式选择是影响H.264编码速率的瓶颈问题。在分析H.264帧内预测算法基础上,提出了一种快速模式选择算法。该算法利用16×16块帧内预测后的SAD值判断是否能够跳过4×4块帧内预测;在4×4块帧内预测中根据SAD特征缩小候选模式范围。实验结果表明：该算法较大地提高了帧内编码速度,同时保证图像质量下降在可接受范围之内。

| Abstract: | Intra-prediction mode selection in H. 264 is the bottleneck of encoding. A fast mode selection algorithm is proposed based on the analysis of H. 264. According to SAD value of Intra 16 × 16, the algorithm decides whether Intra.4 × 4 can be skipped. On the other way, it utilizes the SAD values of 4 × 4 block to filter out some less probable modes. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm increases the speed of intra coding significantly and guarantees the image quality. |
