Abstract: | An optimal linear quadratic regulator will be designed and applied to output current regulation of a four-quadrant ac–dc matrix
converter with high-frequency isolation. This power converter provides unity power factor, high-frequency isolation and fast
four-quadrant operation. The control has been implemented in a digital signal processor. A Kalman estimator is used to reduce
the number of sensors. Experimental results are presented for a 1.2 kW converter prototype. |
