集装式机械密封在水泵中的应用

针对武钢三炼钢水泵泄漏严重并影响生产的问题，着重从盘根密封、分离式机械密封、集装式机械密封3种密封形式的比较入手，结合设备、密封介质及集装式机械密封进行考查、研究、论证，直至集装式机械密封应用于水泵中。可为解决同类设备密封问题提供参考。

Application of containerized mechanical seal in water pump

In light of the problem of serious leakage of the water pump and its undesirable effect on the steel-making in the No. 3 Steel-making Plant of WlSCO, proceeding from comparison of the advantages and disadvantages in between the three different modes of sealing, namely the twisted-root type sealing, the separated type mechanical sealing and the containerized type mechanical sealing in consideration of the equipment and medium conditions the feasibility of application of the containerized mechanical seal in the water pump has been examined, studied and verified. As a necessary reference the testing result can be offered to the similar counter parts to solve their sealing problem of the water pump.
