| Abstract: | For an excavation work,earth pressure acting on exterior protected structures depends on their flexural deformation.This paper uses an exponential function to describe the relationship between earth pressure and the flexural deformation of a structure,which is applied to a rational solution for beam on a nonlinear elastic foundation. |
