论大学英语教学中学生自主学习能力的培养

摘    要:对大学生自主学习能力的培养是大学英语课程改革关注的一个焦点,也是实施素质教育中一个深层次的问题。自主学习能力的培养要贯穿于英语学习的全过程。应依据相应级别的课程教学目标,结合学生的认知水平,灵活地、创造性地使用教材;要突出学生的主体性原则、和谐的师生关系原则、活动性原则、多样性原则,科学性评价原则,多层次、多途径地培养和发展学生的自主学习能力。课堂教学是培养学生自主学习能力的最重要环节,课堂教学改革的重点是培养学生的创新精神和实践能力。老师的核心领导作用不容忽视,老师是自主学习课堂的舵手,是课堂活动的组织者和引领者。

Abstract:The nurturing of college students' ability of independent learning is not only a major focus of educational reform,but also a deeper concern of the advancement of quality education.This task should be implemented throughout the process of English learning.Firstly,it is essential to make a flexible and creative use of the textbooks,with the teaching targets and students' level of understanding taken into account.Secondly,the process should highlight the principles of students' main body status,harmonious teacher-student relationship,flexibility,diversity,and scientific evaluation,and thus develop students' independent learning ability in a multi-level multi-way manner.Class-room teaching is an important part,the emphasis of which should be laid on the cultivation of students' creative spirit and ability in practice.The function of teachers as class-room leaders can never be neglected,and teachers are the right ones who steer,organize and direct a class.
