| Abstract: | A series of new techniques have been used in the design of gold mine shafts, such as multirope friction winder elevating conveyer, composite guide, guide made of cold bending square steel pipe, safety netting made of fibre glass reinforced plastics and guide beam installed with simple anchor. These techniques are worth popularising in shaft construction and shaft renovation. |
