浙东宁波地区朱金木雕艺术探析

朱金漆木雕是木雕上贴金漆朱的木雕艺术。全国从南到北有很多有名的木雕产地,如潮州木雕和东阳木雕并列为中国民间两大木雕体系,但宁波的木雕独树一帜,其最大的特点在于不仅仅是木雕,更与漆工艺珠联璧合。宁波朱金木雕大约有1000余年历史。汉唐以来,随着木结构建筑的发展,出现了彩漆和贴金并用的装饰建筑木雕。宁波朱金漆木雕简称"朱金木雕",主要技艺是在木雕上贴金漆朱,它以浙江省宁波市为中心,延及慈溪、余姚、奉化、象山、宁海、镇海、鄞州等地。

Red and Gold Lacquered Woodcarving Residence at NingBo in East Zhejiang

Red-and-gold-lacquered woodcarving is a kind of woodcarving covered with red and gold lacquer. Throughout China, there are many places producing famous woodcarvings, such as Chaozhou and Dongyang. Woodcarvings from these two areas form the two major systems of Chinese folk woodcarvings. The woodcarvings in Ningbo, with a history of 1,000 years,have established a unique new school, characterized by its perfect matching with lacquering art. Since Han and Tang Dynasty, with the development of wooden constructions, there have been decorating woodcarvings which combine colored painting and gold lacquering. Red-and-gold- lacquered woodcarving in Ningbo is shortened a"s red-gold woodcarving", the main technique of which is to cover wood carvings with red and gold lacque"r.Red-gold woodcarvings"are produced in Ningbo city and its surrounding areas including Cixi,Yuyao,Fenghua, Xiangshan,Ninghai,Zhenhai,Yinzhou,etc.
