| Abstract: | Silicone softeners enjoy a certain prestige in the modern textiles industry. There are many reasons for this. Silicones give textiles an attractive hand and also improve their wear and care properties. Here, an overview of the most important properties of silicone softeners is given and their added value in textile processing is shown. |
