| Abstract: | Based on the studies of settlement special idio-syncracy and terrain character in Southern Yangtze, this paper explains the space order and place spirit of the settlement. According to the analysis, the paper explores the background on which the archetype of architectural space comes into being from certain culture system and site, as well as the logical expression of architectural formation in the condition of realistic technology. |
