With the development of economy, vehicle has become one kind of efficient transportation means in modem society. However, braking noise that produced during automobile braking not only lead to environment pollution, but also disperse the driver＇s attention and cause the driver＇ s stress, which will bring about hidden danger. The characteristic and cause of braking noise were analysed, and some relevant preventive measures were put forward, which will bring certain guiding significance for the prevention of braking noise.
