基于ColorMax模型的拟视皮层图像识别*

受生物学研究启发,模拟视皮层组织结构提出了ColorMax层次模型用于彩色图像识别问题。利用ColorMax模型进行学习能得到较高层次的复杂仿真视觉特征,这些特征具有较好的识别可分性和不变性。利用该模型实现基于对象颜色、纹理和形状的综合特征识别与比较。实验结果表明,提出的模型能够在学习样本数量少的情况下进行学习,提高了识别的速度,能达到与当前先进算法相当识别效果。

Cortex like object recognition based on ColorMax model

This paper introduced novel hierarchical model for object recognition in colorful image,which was improved from a classical model of visual cortex.It proposed an approach to get a set of complex features which was a combination of color,texture and shape.And the model was proved to get more efficient features on a small quantity of samples and speed the object recognition.The experiments results show that the features can satisfy two essential requirements: invariance and specificity.
